Please read the following Terms carefully. By using CrateOS, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

By accessing, registering for, or using CrateOS, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Scope of Platform

CrateOS is a web-based platform designed to support the planning, promotion, and participation of car-related events. The platform facilitates interactions between multiple types of users, including but not limited to organizers, drivers, vendors, and attendees. Each user role may have access to features relevant to their participation, such as event creation, vehicle registration, RSVP tracking, document sharing, and communication tools. CrateOS may update or expand platform functionality over time without prior notice. Use of the platform is subject to these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Eligibility

Users of all ages are permitted on the platform. However, users under the age of 18 must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use CrateOS.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.

5. Content Ownership and Usage

All content uploaded by users, including but not limited to event materials, images, and documents, remains the intellectual property of the respective users or content owners. By uploading content to CrateOS, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, display, and share such content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. You must have the necessary rights and permissions for any content you upload.

6. Payment and Fees

CrateOS reserves the right to charge for premium services, including but not limited to featured listings, sponsorship packages, and platform transaction fees. By using paid features, you agree to the associated charges. Pricing is subject to change with or without notice. Organizers using CrateOS to collect payments may be required to connect their own Stripe accounts. CrateOS may receive a platform fee from those transactions. Users agree to abide by the terms of any third-party payment providers.

7. Code of Conduct

You agree not to:
Violate any local, state, or federal laws.
Upload harmful, offensive, or infringing content.
Harass, abuse, or impersonate others.
Interfere with the platform’s operation or access others’ accounts.

8. Organizer Tiering and Scoring

Organizer activity and event metrics may be tracked by CrateOS for quality assurance, tier eligibility, and promotional purposes. This may impact access to premium features, partner referrals, or event visibility on the platform.

9. Venue and Organizer Relationships

CrateOS acts solely as a platform and facilitator. We are not a party to any agreements between event organizers and third-party venues or lot owners. CrateOS does not guarantee the performance of either party and disclaims any liability related to those arrangements.

10. Badge and Visual Identity Use

Use of CrateOS-issued badges, visual marks, or status indicators (e.g., "Pro Organizer") is subject to approval and may be revoked if misused or misrepresented.

11. Third-Party Venue Matching

CrateOS may match commercial partners or lot owners with qualified event organizers from its platform. CrateOS does not assume responsibility for the outcome of such events or compliance with local regulations or permits.

12. DMCA Policy

CrateOS respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content on the platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA notice to our designated agent.

13. Data Rights and Privacy

Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. CrateOS collects, stores, and processes data to provide and improve platform functionality. Users may request access to or deletion of their data in accordance with applicable laws.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or poses a risk to the platform’s security or integrity.

15. Disclaimers

CrateOS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the outcome of any events listed on the platform or interactions between users. CrateOS acts solely as a facilitator.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrateOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CrateOS and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

18. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of CrateOS after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
